The present invention comprises a "plush container", such as a stuffed animal, and further comprises ornamental symbols or similar features for ornamentally symbolizing at least one characteristic of the entity associated with the cremated remains. For example, the system may comprise a symbolic depiction of a vocation or avocation associated with the individual's life. Preferred embodiments also comprise user customizable elements that include photographic and similar graphic imprinting.

A security handbag system comprising a purse with a detachable portion removably coupled to the side of the purse and attached to the waist of a user. The detachable portion has pockets to hold the users valuables including cash, credit cards, defensive chemical spray and cellular phone. Upon extraordinary pulling away of the purse, the detachable portion remains attached to the user and uncouples from the purse.

A container system for organizing items that makes use of wasted space in or around cabinets, for use in organizing items such as spices or items used in construction and repair. The system comprises a substantially linear holder with apertures, containers that fit into the apertures, and caps that close the containers and stop the containers from going all the way through the apertures. The holder provides removable access of containers. The containers may be labeled for easy identification and organization. The holder may have a cover with hinges and a latch. The system may be sold as a kit. The kit may be designed to match the cabinet it will be installed on. The apparatus, kit, and methods of installation and use are disclosed.

One of these sides has four round cylindrical bore holes for stably supporting a bed leg (with or without a small wheel) at each of four different elevations. The other side has four cavities shaped to support a large bed leg wheel at each of four elevations. Extension blocks are provided for fitting over the unitary block to further raise the bed leg.

A cover system for toilet paper to protect the toilet paper from dispersal by children and pets comprising a wall-mounted plastic casing completely covering upper and lower rolls of paper. The upper and lower rolls are covered by respective upper and lower swivelable covers, each having a safety latch system. Each safety latch system includes a pair of button-releasable latches with one button on each side of the casing and each cover may be released only by pushing both such buttons at the same time. The covers are light permeable and night lights may be mounted to the inside of the casing or as part of each holder going through each toilet paper roll.

Within the middle compartment are a plurality of sub-compartments sized for holding various personal safety items such as mace, a wireless phone and a pager. The closure flap is sized and arranged to allow unrestricted access to those personal safety items which are adjacent to the sides of the body when the closure flap is in a closed position. A closeable front and rear compartment are provided to store other miscellaneous personal items.

A fingernail sculpting teaching system for use in practicing the creation of an artificial fingernail on a typical human finger. The teaching system includes a cylinder for simulating a typical human finger. Formed at each end of the cylinder is a visual marker, shaped to simulate a typical human nail bed, on which is placed the material comprising the artificial fingernail bed. A form may be provided adjacent the visual marker for receiving the material comprising the artificial fingernail free edge. The cylinder may be provided with a cover to faciliate removal of the artificial fingernail from the cylinder.

Described is a quiet hand-held hair dryer with configuration and component combinations for making the hair dryer exceptionally quiet and efficient. The hair dryer includes a housing having a lower handle portion and an upper body portion separated by an air-directing wall. A large impeller moves air downward from a large top air inlet and passes it outward through a side air outlet in a hair drying stream. An electric motor is mounted in the handle housing adjacent its bottom and is connected in driving relation with the impeller by a long vertical shaft. The motor is mounted in a rubber casing permitting cooling air flow and minimizing vibration to the housing; and the upper end of the shaft is stabilized by a bearing mounted in a rubber housing for the same purpose. The configuration of the described hair dryer permits high air flow with relatively low motor speeds.

 

Therapeutic Device Using Pulsed and Colored Lightview pdf of patent icon
An improved non-coherent pulsed and colored light stimulation device used for therapeutic effects in living creatures. Pulsed/colored light is applied to local areas, or acupuncture macro or micro systems, by means of a small diameter optic fiber (10) housed in a pen-like handpiece (18) which makes application comfortable and precise. The light source is an adjustable rate strobe (4) with a housing attached to the front (6) which allows color gel slides (12) to be interchanged. The light passes through the slides (12) and through a length of jacketed flexible optic fiber (10) where it becomes visible again at the radiant tip (20) of the handpiece (18).

A keyholder is described having a soft nylon cord, looped to hold keys, with both ends of the nylon loop capturable in a cord capture device. The cord capture is of the type which permits passing of the cord through aligned holes in a casing and in a button in the casing, where the button compresses a spring to align the holes. When the button/spring is released, any cord segment in the cord capture is prevented from movement through the holes. One end of the nylon cord has a clip on it to prevent that end from passing through the cord capture; and advertising indicia may be put on a surface attached to the clip. A preferred method for making the keyholder is described, including protecting the cord ends from fraying.

A quilting-aid device and method for use in making "two-color" squares for use in quilts, in which the quilter makes four of such squares from each larger square of two superimposed sheets of different material. The quilting-aid device, which saves the quilter from having to perform difficult calculations in the measuring and stitching and cutting of such squares, has two scales inscribed on a ruler-type base; a first scale on which to locate the desired size of two-color square and a second scale on which the corresponding position gives the size of the larger square with which to begin.
