Additionally, the system encompasses methods for simplifying delivery and use of standardized database management functions by users while improving management and control of the standardized database management functions (API's) through unique methods of encryption, decryption and execution management.

Voice Messaging Systems (PDF , Text only, Figure 1)
A voice messaging system sends a notification to a receiving unit that a message has been recorded and immediate attention is required for the proper person to listen to the message. Upon listening to the message a return notification may be sent to the unit from which the message originated to alert the sender that the message has been heard, and optionally that the listener has a return message. Additionally, the voice messaging system can provide patient status information (e.g., condition, course of treatment) telephonically in a confidential manner to a loved one. The system can also provide after-care information to a patient after hospital discharge.

RETRACTABLE TAILGATE BARRIER AND ACCESSORY SYSTEMS (PDF , Text only, Figure 1)
A tailgate barrier system is provided having telescoping supports, which stores entirely within a storage compartment in the tailgate, and which extends directly perpendicular from the tailgate surface for use. The telescoping supports are hingedly connected to the tailgate within the storage compartment and are slidingly connected to the top rail of the tailgate extender. Groups of accessories mountable to the tailgate barrier system are also disclosed.

Waste oil electrical generation systems (PDF , Text only, Figure 1)
An on-site electrical power generation system utilizing environmentally hazardous waste oils as a combustible fuel. The disclosed invention utilizes environmentally hazardous waste oils generated by one or more on-site processes, such as, for example, by the maintenance of transportation vehicles. In addition, the system is adapted to provide local space heating and hot water as a byproduct of the combustion process.

Semi-Custom Ankle Brace System (PDF , Text only, Figure 1)
Disclosed are methods and apparatus of semi-custom ankle brace systems adapted to be heat-formed onto a patient's foot. The system laces around the lower calf, ankle, heel, and arch, and also provides compression and assists the unitary ankle support in preventing pronation, suppination, and plantarflexion. The boot is custom heat-molded to the end user by heating it to about one-hundred-eighty degrees and then applying it to the patient's foot while it cools. The system comprises a unitary, heat-moldable ankle and full arch support encased in soft inner and outer linings. The inner lining, outer lining, and unitary ankle support form a toeless boot with minimum bulk.

Web Page Optimization Systems (PDF , Text only, Figure 1)
This invention relates to providing a system for improved web page generation and display. More particularly this invention relates to providing a system for dynamically creating web pages on demand, which are can be indexed by Internet-based search engine indexing programs, from contents stored in one or more databases. Further, index rankings created from the dynamically created pages are optimized using random, but contextually appropriate text replacement, within the web page URL link references and web-page content, and source code ordering.

A behavior modification system, for school and institutional settings, comprising Internet-enabled software adapted to receive reports of misbehavior and to automatically generate, schedule, and track consequences for the misbehavior. The system also has the capability to receive reports of serious misbehavior and automatically transmit those reports to school administrators, parents, etc. The system assists teachers and administrators to provide simple, consistent, and objective negative feedback for improper student behavior.

A hand-held system adapted to assist stripping of an undulating outer jacket of a twisted pair wire. The system incorporates cutters to provide two longitudinal cuts through the outer jacket of the twisted shielded pair wire. The cutters are removable and replaceable.

Fire-control sprinkler riser systems (PDF , Text only, Figure 1)
A fire-control riser system that provides a multi-function unitary valve system including providing pressure test, pressure relief, and drain/test fluid flow capability for fire-control sprinkler systems. Furthermore, the fire-control riser system comprises an enclosure that provides for easier installation, pre-assembled components and protects such riser systems from damage during the construction process. Additionally, the fire-control riser system may be substantially comprised of plastic material. The system utilizes an improved flow switch coupling-attachment system that includes no-thread attachment or threaded attachment. The system also provides for multi-function components as well as reduced ports for component installation thereby reducing potential leak areas.

The financial decision system provides for real-time calculation of buying pressure and selling pressure for any tradable instrument market. Additionally, it provides real-time visual simultaneous plots and charts of buying pressure and selling pressure. Further, the system automatically presents buy and sell indicators and expert commentary based on automatically detected market trend changes. The system automatically analyzes market trends and changes in multiple timeframes simultaneously to identify, in real time, multiple confirmations of suggested trading actions, such as buying or selling. The system also encompasses training materials and methods necessary for teaching concepts and methods of usage to improve the likelihood of success for new users.

A system for capping the upper opening of a well having an accommodation for a remotely-located control device. More specifically, a well cap system for a water-well having a pipe casing that permits one or more well control apparatus to be located within the well cap. The system is a two-part assembly, comprising a base and hollow cover, both arranged to be supported by the pipe casing. Further, a constant pressure well system utilizing the water-well cap system.

SPORTS MATCHMAKER SYSTEMS (PDF , Text only, Figure 1)
The Sports Matchmaker System provides an improved method for arranging sporting events and non-sporting events between unacquainted people (202). It provides a system (300) for matching persons publicly offering (612) to participate in particular sporting or social events with persons desiring to participate in similar sporting or social events. The system also provides various means for communicating between the offering party and the accepting party to complete the event. The system also provides methods for arranging event venues (605) for sporting and social events. The system further provides means for connecting users to commercial sponsors (614).

A system for automatically creating and maintaining a database of information utilizing user opinions about subjects, particularly exceptional experiences. Described is an Internet system assisting/motivating a population of users interested in information about certain categories of subjects to automatically maintain the database content and to improve the usefulness and quality of the database information without any substantial management by the website owner-manager. The user opinions are primarily in the form of both comments and ratings about which natural-language terms best describe a particular subject, enabling user searches of the subject database to be by way of preferred such descriptive natural-language terms, which terms are further preferred to be evaluative and approving.

REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEMS (PDF , Text only, Figure 1)
A system that allows a user to install a remote control transmitter to transmit a control signal in response to the driver flashing the high-beam headlights in a vehicle without cutting and splicing wires in the vehicle electrical system. Pluggable light system components such as the light bulb housing, the light bulb socket, and/or the headlight fuse are structured and arranged to contain a radio frequency transmitter that draws power from the existing electrical circuits. A method of use is also disclosed.

The receipt card system provides a system and method for accumulating and storing transaction line-item detail on behalf of consumers. The system permits consumers to view stored transaction line-item detail in a variety of ways using a web browser interface. It also includes a means for consumers to download transaction line-item detail into a personal financial management system. Transaction line-item detail is captured at each participating merchant's location at the time of transaction associated with a consumer and essentially automatically transferred to a centralized database. The system and method are essentially voluntary for both merchants and consumers.

HYDROGEN ENERGY SYSTEMS (PDF , Text only, Figure 1)
A refrigerant vapor compression system includes a first compression device and a second compression device disposed in a refrigerant circuit in series relationship with respect to refrigerant flow and an intercooler adapted to cool the refrigerant passing from the first compression device to the second compression. An evaporator is provided in the refrigerant circuit wherein the refrigerant accepts heat from a moisture bearing gas such as air. Condensate formed of moisture condensing out of the gas is collected and supplied to the intercooler for cooling the refrigerant flowing from the first compression device to the second compression device.

Tailgate extender systems (PDF , Text only, Figure 1)
A tailgate extender system is provided having telescoping supports, which stores entirely within a storage compartment in the tailgate, and which extends directly perpendicular to the tailgate surface for use. The telescoping supports are hingedly connected to the tailgate within the storage compartment and are slidingly connected to the top rail of the tailgate extender. Further, a cargo netting system that retracts into the tailgate extender top rail is provided.

Hydrogen Energy Systems (PDF , Text only, Figure 1)
A hydrogen energy system comprising galvanic hydrogen generators and
hydrogen input manifolds for vehicle engines. The galvanic hydrogen
generators generate hydrogen gas, magnesium hydroxide, and heat by the
galvanic reaction of magnesium anodes with steel cathodes in salt water.
Heat exchangers channel excess heat to a heat sink such as a
thermocouple, Stirling engine, hot water system, etc. The hydrogen input
manifold is bolted between the engine block and the air intake manifold
of a gasoline or diesel engine. Hydrogen gas is injected into the
hydrogen input manifold to provide supplementary fuel to the engine,
lowering the amount of petroleum that is used.

A vehicle projection system relating to use of a light projecting system comprising at least one light projector adapted to project at least one decorative light design onto at least one exterior portion of a vehicle. The system preferably uses a laser projector and user-selectable controller to select and control decorative designs projected onto the vehicle exterior. The controller may be manually operated, computer programmed, remote controlled or utilize pre-selected programming.

Aircraft fluid drip pan system (PDF , Text only, Figure 1)
A system for improved collection and containment of fluids such as oils that commonly drip from an aircraft during service maintenance operations and during normal periods of storage. The system comprises a ground-supported drip pan incorporating a peripheral cutout adapted to accommodate a landing wheel of the aircraft to permit effective positioning under the engine. An embodiment for exterior use utilizing the weight of the aircraft to prevent movement of the system is also disclosed.

Described is an internet-based system for assisting/motivating a population of users interested in information about certain categories of sales related subjects to automatically maintain the database content and to improve the usefulness and quality of the database information without any substantial management by the website owner-manager. The user opinions are primarily in the form of both comments and ratings of which sales-related subjects best provide assistance in completing a sale. Also a system for permitting users to access selected Junctions of the system for creating and viewing subjects from within other software applications.

This invention relates to providing a system for improved methods of promoting, forming and managing Internet-based communities on the Internet through and within standard web pages without requiring the installation of additional software on a user’s computer or on web sites where the system is implemented by using the latest software tools, presentation techniques and Internet communication methods (504). Additionally, this invention provides real time monitoring of user counts (508) to all visitors and web pate owners when a page with the embedded URL is accessed (520). In particular, this invention permits web page visitors to initiate and participate in anonymous and hoc chat sessions initiated from a selected web page (522). Additionally, this invention provides a web-based location which permits Internet users to join and participate in Internet-based communities and the related activities such as messaging other members, participating in member chat sessions and web resource sharing without the need to install software.

Paintball pod holder systems (PDF , Text only, Figure 1)
This invention provides a paintball pod holder system for convenient one-handed removal and replacement of paintball pods. Preferably, one or more rigid paintball pod holders are attached to a belt or other support. A stiff lining of the inside of the paintball pod holder keeps the holder open at the ends and permits convenient insertion of paintball pods. The lining also has a spring clip function to securely hold the paintball pod. There is also a non-slip surface to prevent the system from slipping against the body during use.

A dally practicing system which simulates the conditions of roping a steer with relative safety. The portable dallying practice system takes up slack in a rope without applying excessive tension which could injure the user, provides a clutch system which allows for convenient manipulation of the tension, and provides a safety release mechanism which automatically releases the tension if the tension becomes excessive.

TABLETOP HORSESHOES GAME SYSTEMS (PDF , Text only, Figure 1)
A tabletop scaled-down horseshoes game system (200) primarily for use indoors that includes a substantially horizontal playing surface (128) and a pair of scaled-down posts (127) to be used as the target for tossed scaled-down horseshoes. An embodiment for use in commercial establishments provides a token to activate the game, a scoreboard (260), a game timer, and pneumatics (202) to lower the posts when the game is over. The commercial establishment game may also incorporate a vending machine (222) to dispense the scaled-down horseshoes to be used with the game system.
