A harness system for aiding a mounted rider in maintaining a substantially upright position during a riding procedure. Additionally, it specifically provides a harness system that aids a rider in maintaining a substantially upright position in the saddle during the delivery of a roping procedure.

A system and process for more efficiently clearing checks by transmitting MICR line data together with a URL link to facilitate check clearing via electronic debits by an ACH. The URL link can be used at the option of the paying bank (or other entity) to access images of the check from a database.

Point-of-sale investment systems   (PDF view pdf of patent icon,  Text only,  Figure 1)
As a positive alternative to lottery gambling, this invention permits consumers to elect to make small investments through lottery terminals. The investments are preferably made in a stock market based investment such as an Equity Index Annuity. Consumers may make investments anonymously and then consolidate them later into an account which may be managed in a manner similar to other investments. Subject to the policies regarding early redemption, consumers may also withdraw the invested amounts plus any associated gains.

A security handbag system comprising a purse with a detachable portion removably coupled to the side of the purse and attached to the waist of a user. The detachable portion has pockets to hold the users valuables including cash, credit cards, defensive chemical spray and cellular phone. Upon extraordinary pulling away of the purse, the detachable portion remains attached to the user and uncouples from the purse.

An on-site electrical power generation system utilizing environmentally hazardous waste oils as a combustible fuel. The disclosed invention utilizes environmentally hazardous waste oils generated by one or more on-site processes, such as, for example, by the maintenance of transportation vehicles. In addition, the system is adapted to provide local space heating and hot water as a byproduct of the combustion process.

Collaborative management systems for creating and streamlining effective and privacy-protected partner marketing opportunities for companies. They permit companies to become members of a partnership network of companies to gain exposure to customers of some of the other members companies’ customers, yet keep their own customer database private. Each member agrees to introduce other member companies to their customers and can request to be introduced to the customers of the other members as part of a defined event awareness initiative which may be implemented through email, direct mail or any other communication method. Provided are systems to promote rapid and continued growth of the partnership network and therefore marketing opportunities for members including cost sharing, event awareness initiative scheduling, planning and execution, and results tracking. The systems simplify, automate, standardize and leverage marketing partnership processes and are also intended to create and manage multiple networks of participating companies.

An electronic system for the continuous monitoring of voltage charge within the electrical system of a motor vehicle having an electrical generation source and a secondary electrochemical cell or battery. The system comprises a programmable in-vehicle monitor having a flashing LED indicator that alerts the vehicle operator of the condition of the electrical system. An example of the invention comprises a plug-in housing for use in a vehicle accessory-power-socket. Additionally, a method of market distribution is disclosed.

Method and system for mounting radio avionics   (PDF view pdf of patent icon,  Text only,  Figure 1)
A mounting bar system permitting infinite adjustability in mounting avionics-components trays and Dzus-mounted avionics in at least one aircraft cockpit instrument panel assembly. Each mounting bar is slotted along its longitudinal axis. The slot is made to include the shape of a T such that a wider channel exists below the opening of the slot. Spring-loaded nut assemblies set to receive mounting screws from the avionics-components trays are fit within the T slot. Friction provided by the spring holds the nut assembly at any desired location within the T slot. As the nut assembly can be positioned at any location within the T slot, the mounting bar can readily be adjusted to support any avionics-components tray intended for at least one aircraft cockpit instrument panel assembly.

Portable purifying system   (PDF view pdf of patent icon,  Text only,  Figure 1)
A portable purifying system for improved filtering and/or separating of cleaning solutions such as solvents, particularly those used in parts washers. The purifying system utilizes a removable reservoir to provide a smaller reservoir within a larger reservoir such as a parts washer. The portable purifying system provides an apparatus and method of use to perform the following steps: using re-circulating solvent from the larger reservoir, washing oily parts in such manner that oily residue from the washed parts is deposited in the smaller reservoir; separating cleaner portions of solvent from dirtier portions of solvent within the smaller reservoir using density differences to separate by gravity action cleaner portions from dirtier portions; moving the cleaner portions of solvent into the larger reservoir; and periodically emptying and cleaning the smaller reservoir.

Heat exchanger systems   (PDF view pdf of patent icon,  Text only,  Figure 1)
A heat exchanger system, for transferring waste heat from a stream of exhaust air produced in a dryer to a stream of fresh air directed to flow into the dryer, including a retriever, or retriever, comprising an array of a plurality of substantially mutually parallel, substantially vertical heat-transfer conduits having square cross-sections arrayed in alternating staggered rows relative to a perpendicular to the general direction of the flow of the stream of fresh air into the dryer, wherein each heat-transfer conduit is oriented to have one corner facing in the general direction of the flow of the stream of fresh air into the dryer. Associated structure for housing the retriever, supporting it in the flow of fresh air, and directing dryer exhaust air into the heat-transfer conduits is also included. The heat exchanger system is adaptable to a wide variety of dryers, and may be built-in.

Turf aerator core-cleaning systems   (PDF view pdf of patent icon,  Text only,  Figure 1)
An aerator plug-core cleaning system for ground surface collection of turf cores extracted from a turf core-aerating apparatus. The core-cleaning system comprises a core-cleaner that primarily attaches to either a walk-behind or tractor pulled aerator machine. The core-cleaner entraps and pushes the extracted cores along behind the core-aeration machine until being lifted in about a vertical manner by secondary attachment to a rear raise-able portion of the core-aeration machine at which point the cores are left in a pile for disposal.

A memento timepiece system adapted to assist an individual in the daily observance of at least one daily event memorable to the individual. Many individuals have within their experience, a person, life event, or other occasion that they wish to remember daily, weekly or monthly. The present invention comprises a timepiece, such as a wristwatch, having a factory preset alarm time to mark a daily act of remembrance. Business methods relating to the manufacture and distribution of the memento timepiece systems are also disclosed.

A system for improved monitoring of changes in the location and conditions surrounding people and property, utilizing fixed and moveable logic processors, which communicate with each other as well as receivers. A hand-held system for determining the slope of an element having an irregular surface, such as a shingled roof, or along a surface that is partially obscured by adjacent elements. The system comprises an inclinometer having a double indicator to provide two simultaneous readings of slope.

A container system for organizing items that makes use of wasted space in or around cabinets, for use in organizing items such as spices or items used in construction and repair. The system comprises a substantially linear holder with apertures, containers that fit into the apertures, and caps that close the containers and stop the containers from going all the way through the apertures. The holder provides removable access of containers. The containers may be labeled for easy identification and organization. The holder may have a cover with hinges and a latch. The system may be sold as a kit. The kit may be designed to match the cabinet it will be installed on. The apparatus, kit, and methods of installation and use are disclosed.

A disc repair system which is provided for the purpose of consumer-repairing of scratches on optically-read discs (e.g., digitally recorded discs, known commonly, as "CD" discs or "DVD" discs, etc., containing audio or video or other formats of data information), such that an optical reader, which uses a laser to read digital information stored on a compact disc, can read the digital information without the optical distortion caused by a scratch. The system utilizes diamond grit as an abrading compound to recondition the disc surface.

A tabletop scaled-down horseshoes game system primarily for use indoors that includes a substantially horizontal playing surface and a pair of scaled-down posts to be used as the target for tossed scaled-down horseshoes. An embodiment for use in commercial establishments provides a token means to activate the game, a means to change and display each player's score, a means to keep track of and display game time, and a means to pneumatically lower the posts when the game is over. The commercial establishment game may also incorporate a vending machine to dispense the scaled-down horseshoes to be used with the game system.

A tool drive system for transferring rotational power from a rotational tool, such as a drill or ratchet, to at least one input drive shaft which then transfers the power to at least one output drive shaft. The angle of at least one input drive shaft being adjustable relative to at least one output shaft. The tool drive system comprises a round housing with an angle adjuster attached to the input shaft that assists in adjusting and locking the angle of the input shaft relative to the output shaft in an almost circular span. The input and output shafts may be positioned in a user-selected gear ratio from the input to output shafts or vice versa.

A method and system of financial analysis for use by trained and untrained users which provides improved visualization, understanding, and analysis of companies' financial performances. Particularly, it allows the end user to prepare a sophisticated financial analysis by creating an effective bridge between financial analysis and the underlying financial information. It uses interfaces similar to digital video editors to permit sequential analysis with annotation of financial data in the same manner as editing and compositing film or video materials. It presents the financial data and related non-financial data in a visual analog format for discussion and analysis by one or more users. The income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows are analyzed as a whole rather than separately as individualized statements. And it provides for direct interfaces with all underlying financial and related data. The analysis steps created by a user may be captured and recorded for later play back, communication and analysis. A recorded analysis may be a modifiable allowing analysis, input and comment by other individuals to form a comparative analysis that is an analytical sum of all contributors.

Database scattering system   (PDF view pdf of patent icon,  Text only,  Figure 1)
A computer system for providing load balancing and scalable access to a network database system by providing multiple database instances with each instance being substantially identical in data content, database structure, and primary key system. Requests from users are received by the system, examined to determine their nature as transactional or non-transactional and, in the case of non-transactional queries, scattered among the multiple database instances. Such scattering of queries permits multiple instances of the database to be serving responses to multiple users at substantially the same time. In the case of transactional queries, the system automatically propagates the transactional query to all instances of the database to maintain homogeneity.

This invention relates to providing a system for improved methods of promoting, forming and managing Internet-based communities on the Internet through and within standard web pages without requiring the installation of additional software on a user's computer or on web sites where the system is implemented by using the latest software tools, presentation techniques and Internet communication methods. Additionally, this invention provides real time monitoring of user counts to all visitors and web page owners when a page with the embedded URL is accessed. In particular, this invention permits web page visitors to initiate and participate in anonymous ad hoc chat sessions initiated from a selected web page. Additionally, this invention provides a web-based location which permits Internet users to join and participate in Internet-based communities and the related activities such as messaging other members, participating in member chat sessions and web resource sharing without the need to install software.

A tracheostomy care container system for assisting in organizing, managing, and transporting trach care materials. It can be used to store a used suction catheter in a clean environment so that the catheter can be used again, and also allows a user to easily distinguish between cleaning solution and water used during trach care.

FUEL ADDITIVE SYSTEMS   (PDF view pdf of patent icon,  Text only,  Figure 1)
Comprehensive transportation fuel additive compositions are designed to improve low-quality transportation fuels, particularly for underdeveloped countries. A preferred formula of the present invention comprises at least one octane booster, at least one combustion modifier, at least one corrosion inhibitor, at least one water demulsifier, at least one detergent, at least one solvent, at least one fuel stabilizer, at least one biocide, and at least one fuel lubricant. Under appropriate circumstances, such as, for example, use in cold climates, the preferred formula may also comprise at least one low temperature additive. The comprehensive fuel additives of the present invention have a novel capability of substantially correcting all of the detrimental aspects of low-quality transportation fuel, thereby lowering pollution, improving fuel efficiency, and reducing vehicle maintenance costs. The comprehensive fuel additive formula is preferably tailored and adjusted to meet local needs. Different, but closely related, comprehensive fuel additive formulas are used for motor fuels and diesel fuels.
