Humanoid Machine Systems, Methods, and Ontologies
Humanoid Machine Systems, Methods, and Ontologies Disclosed are computer systems with intelligent or autonomous decision systems which include means for determining relevancy, i.e., the threats to and opportunities of the autonomous decision system. Also disclosed are such autonomous decision systems using an efficient ontology to interact sociably with humans, including the use of natural languages and bonding. The desired "whether concrete is included in abstract" computation system is enhanced by the ontology system using categorizing of natural objects using as primitives a set of self tendencies suitable, when hierarchically assigned to objects, to do incremental simulation of "future" situations (including such objects) from a presented situation. Using such primitives and computation system, planning, learning, languaging, etc., are efficiently accomplished.

Remote Access Management Systems
Remote Access Management Systems The Remote Access Management System is a patient scheduling and superbill generator with cross migration between PDAs, cell phones and any wireless device linking to medical practice management software. It is a web based application any provider can use to schedule patient appointments and generate a superbill for a patient's visit. The Remote Access Management System links to medical practice support software (medical practice management systems, electronic medical records systems). There is no double data entry. A provider can view and create new appointments from any wireless device with access to the internet. Any appointments created in the medical practice management software can be viewed online in real time. The provider can add new appointments, patients, and superbills directly. This information will automatically be transferred into the medical practice support software.

Financial Decision Systems
Financial Decision Systems The financial decision system provides for real-time calculation of buying pressure and selling pressure for any tradable instrument market. Additionally, it provides real-time visual simultaneous plots and charts of buying pressure and selling pressure. Further, the system automatically presents buy and sell indicators and expert commentary based on automatically detected market trend changes. The system automatically analyzes market trends and changes in multiple timeframes simultaneously to identify, in real time, multiple confirmations of suggested trading actions, such as buying or selling. The system also encompasses training materials and methods necessary for teaching concepts and methods of usage to improve the likelihood of success for new users.

Method and Apparatus for Electronic Message (Coupon) Distribution
Method and Apparatus for Electronic Message (Coupon) Distribution A system and method for creating and retrieving coupons using an electronic coupon database includes registering coupons with the database by a vendor, and then registering cell phones, also with the database; so that cell phones subsequently can request coupons from the database. The coupons are encrypted and sent to the requesting registered cell phone, which then decrypts the coupons for display and redemption at a point of sale. Provision is made to prevent the transfer of coupons from the requesting cell phone to some other cell phone in the system.

Vehicle Data Recorder
Vehicle Data Recorder Vehicle data recorder system including method and apparatus which, without constant attention of the operator, makes a printed recording of the velocity, direction of travel of each vehicle actuating the recorder and the time of day each vehicle actuates the recorder. One preferred embodiment has concentric printing platens which move relative to one another and relative to a printing zone so that the current time of day and the velocity of the actuating vehicle are simultaneously disposed within the printing zone. A clock mechanism determines the position of the time of day platen so that the correct time of day is in the printing zone. Spaced vehicle sensors serially sense a moving vehicle and generate an electrical signal which causes the velocity printing platen to move until the vehicle velocity is within the printing zone. A predetermined sequence of activation of the sensors causes the direction of travel of be printed. A total vehicle count is accumulated on a tabular readout. Another presently preferred embodiment converts the vehicle speed and time of day into encoded pulses which actuate a punch or printer to encode punch tape or print out with the data described above.

Log Note System for Digitally Recorded Audio
Log Note System for Digitally Recorded Audio A system which is primarily of use for lawyers, judges, and electronic court reporters operates to correlate personal log notes with digitally recorded audio proceedings, such as courtroom proceedings. The notes may be made in conjunction with the computer actually recording the courtroom proceedings; or they may be made on personal computers separate from the computer recording the court proceedings. Identification of the proceedings is made on both the digitally recorded proceedings, as well as on the log notes; so that they are correlated. Each time a note is entered, the time at which the note.cndot. is entered is placed as a time stamp in conjunction with the note. When the log notes are synchronized with the recorded court proceedings (either at the time the proceedings begin, or at any subsequent time), reference subsequently to that note time stamp allows direct immediate access to the same running time on the court proceedings, for subsequent review of either the recorded audio or a transcription made of that audio carrying the same time references.

Voice Messaging Systems
Voice Messaging Systems A voice messaging system sends a notification to a receiving unit that a message has been recorded and immediate attention is required for the proper person to listen to the message. Upon listening to the message a return notification may be sent to the unit from which the message originated to alert the sender that the message has been heard, and optionally that the listener has a return message. Additionally, the voice messaging system can provide patient status information (e.g., condition, course of treatment) telephonically in a confidential manner to a loved one. The system can also provide after-care information to a patient after hospital discharge.
