WELCOME
Today's newsletter updates, for our clients,
friends, and associates, news of interest in intellectual property and
in staff areas; and it includes an IDEAZ ™ cartoon.
Also, especially for our newest clients and friends,
we summarize some of the ways our firm successfully
- changes
"same-old" law practice to avoid standard client irritants
- stays
client-centered and
- gives clients
"best bang for the budget"™ consistently.
As most of you know, we strive to avoid any "hourly
billing" at all. In almost all cases, we
prefer the "subcontractor" approach of (without any billing)
learning the
client's needs preparing a
proposal with a detailed scope of work fitting the
client's budget only if/when the
client accepts the proposal do we work under a "fixed price" set by the
proposal all our charges
are based upon the work needed, NEVER on the size of the client's wallet!
We keep our work quality and values high by using a team
approach in which
additional knowledge and creativity is available and used in every case every team
includes at least one or two of our most experienced practitioners we meld quality
control into our team creativity
When you refer us, our team will make your referral very happy that you were so thoughtful!

The Person Behind the Voice
Over many years,
the first voice our clients and friends usually hear when dialing us is that of
Vickie Bond. Here is a photo
of Vickie for those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting her in
person. Every law firm needs someone like Vickie, a genuinely kind and
pleasant person, as helpful when you visit as she is by phone. She is
competent in many areas but, if she cannot help, she will know just the right
person at our firm to assist you. The next time you call and Vickie
greets you, see if you can't feel a friendly smile, even over the phone line!
